The Concorso Ferrari show in Pasadena California is one of the biggest Ferrari shows in the United States. There are over 100 Ferraris on display ranging from old classics like the 1952 212 Export Vignale to new supercars like the LaFerrari. The show is free to the public and takes place on Colorado Boulevard in Old Town Pasadena.
I attended this show back in 2013 but since I got there mid way through the event it was extremely crowded. It really made taking photos difficult since there were so many people around each car. I still got to check out all of the awesome Ferraris but I was a little bummed out since I couldn’t get any good shots.
I eventually learned that if I wanted to get good photos then I’d have to get there before the massive crowds show up. This year I got to the show at 7am which was three hours before the official start time. I was able to catch most of the cars driving in and setting up. It was really a great experience and nice to see all the cars before everyone else arrived.
Some of the highlights were the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari that were all parked next to each other and the 1 of 6 Ferrari Sergio. There were three Enzos, a couple F40s, and tons of vintage Ferraris like Dinos and Daytonas.
If you’re a Ferrari fan and live in Southern California then the Concorso Ferrari show in Pasadena is definitely worth checking out. Just remember though, if you like taking photos then it’s a good idea to get there early.
